PLEASE NOTE Because I only have limited time for private lessons I now only offer them to people that have already done a class and just need to fill in some specific extra bits of more specialised knowledge. |
The small classes that I run (maximum of 10 participants) offer plenty of personal attention and students benefit from questions asked by others that they may not have thought of themselves. |
Here are some recent comments regarding the <<beginner's class>> Excellent course. Very relaxed environment with good balance between theory and practice. Group size is not too large and allows for good interaction between Andy and the participants. Thanks Andy! I loved how casual the class was, and I thought you came across very well in all of your explanations. You were very good at tailoring the discussion to the various questions we had. While I had known about the basics and a bit of how and why they were important for good photography, actually having hands-on practice and full explanations (both practical and technical) was just what I was looking for! Thank you! And the brownies were delicious! Excellent course, Andy was very approachable, and patient. There was an equal balance of theory and practice. I am more confident in using my SLR after the class. I would recommend the class to my friends. This is a brilliant class for beginners who are learning how to use an SLR camera. The balance between theory and practical was just right and the techniques were explained at a very simple level for beginners to understand. I'm excited about applying some of the tricks I learnt during the class and look forward to taking more of Andy's classes! Thorough workshop - fantastic for beginners. Had so much fun and learned so much. The day really made me passionate about photography and I'm so keen to use my new skills, and develop more! Thanks Andy, it was terrific!
